Sophisticated & Bohemian
Erin and Peter were dream clients. They completely trusted in Vicki and her vision for their wedding and the result was stunning. Erin and Peter have known each other since high school and dated long distance for eight years. The Bride and Groom had already chosen the Wilson County Show barn for their reception space as it was local and not far from the ceremony site and perfectly accommodated their 450 guests. One of the ways that Vicki and her team transformed this venue was by draping the ceiling, which completely changed the overall look of the space. While we would like to say that all weddings go off without a hitch, the team had to overcome a hurdle when it came to the weight of the drapes and gravity. But we were able to prevail, and with the addition of some show-stopping floral chandeliers, the end effect was better than anyone imagined. In the picture above, Peter honors his mother with a picture of her on his boutonniere.
Some of our favorite aspects of this wedding were the color palette. Which was navy and orange with hints of metallics. The floral designer from Copper and Birch (Brady) added in texture and moody colors to give this wedding a bohemian wedding style that complimented the Bride and Groom. The ceiling installation was the show-stopping piece. With Erin and Peter giving Vicki free reign with the design, the team was able to completely transform this show barn into a beautiful backdrop for this couple.
